A rock for a pillow and stars overhead

A story on my very first peak climbing trip being the leader, and also how I get into my adventures. Me and a friend traversed the Sierra Nevada West to East along Mono Creek. We took the opportunity to do a Mt Stanford (12,838 feet, 3913 meters) West Ridge-East Side traverse as well, followed by an epic descent through the Lake Stanford drainage. Continue reading
